Job Summary
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Junior Interior Designer with strong technical skills to join our dynamic team. This role requires experience in interior renderings (Lumion or similar), formal interior design education, ability to collaborate with clients to create functional and aesthetically pleasing environments while managing projects timelines and design executions from conception to completion.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with clients to understand their vision, needs, and preferences for interior spaces.
- Develop design concepts and present them using CAD software, Sketchup 3D and Lumion
- Create detailed plans, including layouts, color schemes, furniture selection, and lighting designs.
- Manage projects by coordinating with contractors and ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
- Utilize knowledge of color theory to select appropriate palettes that enhance the overall design.
- Conduct site visits to assess project progress and make necessary adjustments.
- Prepare contracts and project documentation for client approval.
- Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and technologies to provide innovative solutions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or a related field is preferred.
- Proficiency in design software such as CAD, Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, Sketchup, and Lumion 3D.
- Strong understanding of sales and how it impacts interior design.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge of color theory and its application in interior spaces.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with clients and team members.
- A portfolio showcasing previous work that demonstrates creativity and technical skills is required.
