Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Part-Time Maintenance Technician to join our hotel team. This position is responsible for helping maintain the overall appearance, safety, and functionality of the property, including guest rooms, public areas, and exterior grounds.
Duties
- Perform preventive maintenance (PM) in guest rooms and public areas
- Toilet and plumbing issues
- Minor repairs and touch-ups
- Light fixture, TV, HVAC, and furniture repairs as needed
- Respond to general hotel maintenance requests in a timely manner
- Mowing
- Pulling weeds
- Watering and general grounds maintenance
- Maintain cleanliness and appearance of the parking lot and exterior areas
- Assist with seasonal property maintenance and special projects
- Help ensure hotel equipment and facilities remain in good working order
- Report any major repair needs or safety concerns to management
Requirements
- General maintenance experience preferred
- Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and mechanical repairs
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
- Must be dependable, detail-oriented, and able to respond quickly to maintenance needs
- Ability to lift, bend, stand, and work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Weekend availability may be required
Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
