Topside Roofing & Siding is seeking a motivated, results-driven Roofing Sales Estimator to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a true sales hunter who enjoys building relationships, generating new business, and helping customers with roofing and exterior construction projects.
The ideal candidate has experience in roofing or commercial construction estimating, understands the construction process, and is comfortable working directly with homeowners, property managers, general contractors, HOAs, and commercial property owners. This is not a remote position. Daily field appointments, site visits, and in-office collaboration are required.

Responsibilities
- Generate new residential and commercial roofing opportunities through prospecting, networking, referrals, and self-generated leads.
- Respond quickly to company-provided leads.
- Perform on-site roof inspections and accurately assess project scope.
- Measure roofs and prepare detailed estimates and proposals.
- Develop estimates for roofing, siding, gutters, and exterior envelope projects.
- Present solutions and close sales while maintaining target gross margins.
- Build and maintain relationships with homeowners, commercial property owners, property managers, HOAs, restoration companies, and general contractors.
- Coordinate with production to ensure a smooth transition from sold project to installation.
- Maintain accurate customer records and pipeline activity within the company CRM.
- Follow up consistently on outstanding proposals.
- Meet or exceed monthly sales and revenue goals.
- Represent TopSide Roofing & Siding with professionalism and integrity in every customer interaction.
Qualifications
Required
- Previous roofing sales and estimating experience or commercial construction estimating experience.
- Proven ability to close sales and develop new business.
- Strong understanding of residential and commercial construction practices.
- Ability to read construction drawings and specifications.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong negotiation and relationship-building abilities.
- Self-motivated with a hunter mentality.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
- Basic computer proficiency (CRM, Microsoft Office, estimating software).
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to safely climb ladders and inspect roofs.
Preferred
- Experience with roofing estimating software.
- Experience working with insurance restoration projects.
- Knowledge of Washington State building codes.
- Existing relationships with builders, property managers, or commercial contractors.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
