Kids First Early Learning Academy is a top-notch program in Springfield, MO, since 2005. We are looking for exceptional individuals to join our team. We are searching for child-loving, positive & dedicated teachers who have a passion for making a big impact in a child’s life. Our team provides a supportive & fun environment. No nights or weekends!
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Must be CPR and First Aid certified (training can be suggested for you)
- Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds.
- Must be able to pass the background check and FBI fingerprinting check.
- College hours preferred.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and ensure the safety of the children in your care at all times.
- Plan activities and implement using our curriculum.
- You will work alongside a co-teacher and equally contribute to the responsibilities in the learning environment.
- Work with the Director on any issues, needs, or questions
- Communication skills are extremely important
- Attend staff meetings
- Ensure the required training per state guidelines is completed. (12 clock hours per yr)
- Be familiar with state regulations
- Be familiar with the policies and procedures in the Kids First Early Academy handbook (a handbook will be provided to each staff member, and a signed letter of agreement and understanding will be required).
Pay: $15.50 - $17.00 per hour
