The Gateway School in Carteret, NJ, a private school for students with disabilities, is seeking a full-time long-term leave replacement Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or Board-Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA) from September 2026 to February 2027.

Qualifications
· Board certified Behavior Analyst OR Board certified Assistant Behavior Analyst
· Applied Behavior Analysis experience preferred
· Special education experience preferred
· Proof of US citizenship or legal resident/alien status
· Required criminal history background check
Professional Responsibilities
· Develop and oversee individualized treatment plans based on comprehensive student assessments and diagnostic evaluations.
· Conduct intake evaluations, behavioral assessments, and ongoing data collection to monitor progress and adjust interventions accordingly.
· Implement evidence-based behavioral therapy techniques tailored to individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and other developmental disabilities.
· Train, supervise, and collaborate with Behavior Technicians and caregivers to ensure consistent application of intervention strategies.
· Collect, analyze, and interpret data to measure treatment effectiveness and inform decision-making processes.
· Communicate regularly with families, educators, and healthcare providers to coordinate care plans and provide updates on progress.
Skills
· Strong knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA), behavioral therapy techniques, and special education principles.
· Experience working directly with children or individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorder.
· Proficiency in data collection methods, medical documentation, and maintaining detailed medical records.
· Ability to perform student assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and intake procedures accurately.
· Familiarity with HIPAA regulations ensuring confidentiality and privacy of student information.
· Excellent communication skills for collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, families, and caregivers.
· Patience, empathy, and dedication to providing student-centered care in a fast-paced environment.
Salary
$68,000 to $85,000 (pro-rated)
