Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server Assistant to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The Food Runner plays a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their orders promptly and accurately, contributing to an exceptional dining experience. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for customer service within the food industry.
Responsibilities
- Assist in bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and address any issues that may arise.
- Communicate effectively with servers and other team members to coordinate order delivery.
- Help with cleaning duties as needed, including resetting tables for incoming guests.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and needs promptly.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant settings is preferred.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment.
- Knowledge of food handling and safety practices is essential.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
