Skylake Properties is looking for a Maintenance Tech to handle a portfolio of 150+ residential units under management in Baltimore County and Harford County.
Ideal scenario is the candidate is capable of running maintenance and small renovation projects with our network of sub-contractors.
Collaborate with other team members (remote and site) to complete projects on time and within budget.
Requirements:
- Capable in Residential Maintenance Tasks inclusive of Plumbing, Electric, and HVAC issues resolution; run checklists and know when it's time to send to a specialist.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate team members.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, we use the application: Slack to communicate with our remote Property Management team.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing workload and scheduling requirements.
- Must have own vehicle (mileage reimbursement available), and basic equipment to perform the service/repairs. Certifications a plus.
Initially the position is classified as a contracting role with corresponding flexibility options. Past the probation period (2-4 months), a re-classification of the role will be reviewed in detail.
