DIESEL MECHANIC
Experience with tractor trailers, forklifts, loaders.
DUTIES and ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Must be familiar with Hydraulics

Diagnoses problems and make repairs on all equipment (Trucks, Trailers, Support Equipment)

Performs preventative maintenance
-
Meets and maintains safety, quality and productivity standards

Maintain a clean and organized work area
-
Class A CDL is a plus
QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE and SKILLS:

Applicant must have a valid driver's license

Effective communicator and team player
-
Diesel truck and trailer mechanic skills

Centrifugal pump knowledge a plus
WORK EXPERIENCE and/or EDUCATION:
-
Two-Three years of experience working as a mechanic.

Experience working with air brake, hydraulic and electrical systems.

Prior welding and fabrication experience preferred but not required.
WORKING CONDITIONS and PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Conducts some repairs in odd positions

Work is performed under changing climatic conditions of extreme heat and cold

Walking long distances; sitting or standing for long periods of time

Bending, stooping, squatting, or kneeling on a repetitious basis

Exposure to noise
Pay:
$20 to $22 per hour - Depending on experience
Hours:
Mon-Fri 7a-4:30p
Some Saturdays if there are urgent repairs
Overtime if needed
