Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active SLP license for Washington State
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Background or interest in pediatric speech therapy within school or healthcare environments
- Strong skills with teletherapy platforms and digital documentation
- Experience designing and implementing IEPs
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and other specialists
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in school-aged children
- Develop and deliver individualized treatment plans, both in-person and via teletherapy
- Work closely with educators and families to achieve student goals
- Keep thorough records and contribute to IEP meetings and reports
- Offer guidance, interventions, and support for students, helping each child reach their highest potential
- Remain up-to-date with best practices in pediatric speech-language pathology
