Schedule: Full-Time, Monday–Friday
Shift: Days – 6:45 AM to 3:15 PM (8-Hour Shifts)
Weekend Rotation: As Needed
On-Call: Required (15 Days Per Month)
MedOp Solutions is seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment. This opportunity is ideal for a skilled imaging professional who thrives in a fast-paced procedural environment and is experienced in assisting physicians during minimally invasive diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
The ideal candidate is proficient in EPIC and has strong technical skills in interventional radiology while maintaining exceptional patient care and safety standards.
The Interventional Radiology Department performs a wide variety of image-guided diagnostic and therapeutic procedures using advanced fluoroscopic and imaging technology.
- Image-guided biopsies
- Drain placements
- Central venous access procedures
- Angiography
- Vascular interventions
- Embolization procedures
- Additional minimally invasive diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
- Assist physicians during interventional radiology procedures
- Prepare procedure rooms and imaging equipment
- Operate fluoroscopic and diagnostic imaging equipment
- Maintain sterile technique throughout procedures
- Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures
- Ensure accurate documentation within EPIC
- Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and multidisciplinary care teams
- Maintain radiation safety standards and quality assurance protocols
- Current Interventional Radiology Technologist credentials as required by state and facility
- Recent Interventional Radiology experience
- EPIC experience is required
- Current BLS Certification
- Strong knowledge of sterile technique and procedural imaging
- Experience in a high-volume acute care Interventional Radiology department
- Previous travel assignment experience
- EPIC Electronic Medical Record (Required)
- Digital fluoroscopy systems
- Angiography imaging equipment
- Ultrasound-guided procedural equipment
- Advanced diagnostic imaging technology
- Facility-specific orientation provided prior to the start of the assignment
- 13-week assignment
- Monday through Friday schedule
- Day shift: 6:45 AM – 3:15 PM
- On-call required approximately 15 days per month
- Eight-hour shifts
- Weekend and holiday coverage as required by the department
