Job Title: Independent Contract House Cleaner

Job Overview:
We are looking for a reliable, detail-oriented independent contract cleaner to provide residential house cleaning services in the Southern area, with occasional opportunities for commercial cleaning as well. This is a contractor position, not an employee role, so cleaners must provide their own cleaning supplies, equipment, transportation, and active general liability insurance.
We are looking for someone professional, dependable, and capable of delivering high-quality cleaning services with strong attention to detail and good communication.
Responsibilities:
Perform residential cleaning services in homes throughout the Buffalo region
Complete standard, deep, move-in/move-out, and recurring cleanings as assigned
Occasionally perform commercial cleaning services when needed
Clean kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, living areas, and common spaces thoroughly
Dust, vacuum, mop, sanitize, and remove trash as needed
Maintain a professional appearance and respectful attitude in clients’ homes or businesses
Communicate clearly regarding scheduling, job updates, and any issues on-site
Deliver consistent, high-quality work and follow client preferences when provided
Requirements:
Must be an independent contractor able to work on a 1099 basis
Must provide your own cleaning supplies and equipment
Must carry active general liability insurance
Must have reliable transportation
Prior residential cleaning experience required
Commercial cleaning experience is a plus
Strong attention to detail and time management
Must be dependable, professional, and trustworthy
Ability to work independently and manage assigned jobs efficiently
Compensation:
Minimum pay of $25/hour
Most jobs typically pay around $30/hour
Pay may vary based on experience, job scope, and consistency
