Responsibilities

- Develop and adapt curriculum materials to support diverse learning styles, including students with disabilities.
- Utilize various learning technologies and e-learning platforms to enhance lesson delivery and engagement.
- Design lesson plans that incorporate best practices in literacy education, early childhood education, and classroom management.
- Assess student progress regularly, adjusting instructional strategies accordingly to ensure continuous growth.
- Collaborate with parents, teachers, and special education staff to support comprehensive student development.
- Incorporate foreign language elements such as Mandarin, French, Japanese into lessons when appropriate to promote multilingual literacy skills.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of literacy education principles and effective teaching strategies for early childhood and preschool learners.
- Experience working with students with disabilities and implementing individualized instructions.
- Proficiency in curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management techniques.
- Excellent writing skills and the ability to teach English as a second language or foreign languages like Mandarin, French, or Japanese.
- Familiarity with learning technology tools, e-learning platforms, and instructional adaptability for remote or hybrid settings.
- Ability to work effectively with children of various ages, including early childhood education and childcare environments.
- Demonstrated experience in tutoring students with diverse backgrounds and needs, including those requiring special education support.
