## Overview We are seeking a dedicated School Counselor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for supporting students' academic, social, and emotional development. ## Responsibilities - Provide individual and group counseling to students - Assist students in developing academic and career goals - Collaborate with teachers and parents to support student success - Conduct assessments to identify students' needs - Implement programs to promote mental health and well-being - Address behavioral issues and provide intervention strategies - Organize and lead educational workshops for students ## Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Counseling or related field (Master's degree preferred) - State certification as a School Counselor - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Knowledge of childhood development and educational psychology - Experience in classroom management and counseling techniques - Familiarity with Christian counseling principles (preferred) - First aid certification (preferred) - Experience in tutoring, childcare, or camp counseling is a plus
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $21.20 per hour
Expected hours: 12.5 per week
