Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. This role requires a proactive individual who takes pride in their work and possesses strong cleaning skills, including experience in commercial and industrial settings.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning tasks in assigned areas, including offices, restrooms, hallways, and common areas.
- Conduct floor care activities such as sweeping, mopping, buffing, and vacuuming to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
- Carry out custodial duties including trash removal, dusting surfaces, and sanitizing high-touch areas.
- Assist with facilities maintenance tasks as needed to ensure the integrity of the building.
- Maintain cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
- Work collaboratively with other staff members to meet the cleaning needs of the facility.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning or custodial services is preferred.
- Familiarity with industrial cleaning techniques and equipment is a plus.
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining cleanliness standards.
