Murdoch Concrete is growing and is looking to hire fulltime Construction Laborers. This position offers on the job training, opportunities for growth, and supports the development of valuable construction skills. Responsibilities
- Assist with the preparation of construction sites by clearing debris, setting up equipment, and organizing materials
- Load, unload, and transport materials and tools safely around the site
- Follow instructions from supervisors to perform tasks accurately and efficiently
- Operate basic hand tools and power tools
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and productivity
- Help with forming, pouring, and finishing each project
- Clearly communicate with crew members and supervisor to ensure efficient progression of each project
- Promptly ask questions if any tasks unclear
Skills
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and work well within a team environment
- Must be able to maintain a steady pace and have strong physical stamina with the ability to lift heavy objects, bend, crouch, pull, push and walk for extended periods
- Basic understanding of construction safety procedures and practices
- Good communication skills to effectively coordinate with crew members
- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to various tasks on-site
- Prior experience in construction or related manual labor roles is a plus but not required

Pay: $15.00 - $22.00 per hour
