Duties
- Greet customers warmly and take their orders accurately using POS system
- Assemble food items efficiently, ensuring quality and presentation meet company standards.
- Handle cash transactions with accuracy, including cash handling, credit card processing, and providing correct change.
- Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales opportunities.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, dining areas, and food handling zones in compliance with food safety regulations.
- Assist with bussing tables, clearing dishes, and ensuring the dining area remains inviting and organized.
- Manage time effectively during busy hours to serve customers promptly while maintaining excellent customer service.
- Follow all food industry safety protocols, including proper food handling techniques and sanitation procedures.
- Contribute to a positive team environment by collaborating with coworkers to deliver seamless service from order taking to food delivery.
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or retail environments is highly preferred, especially within quick service restaurants.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as POS enhances efficiency in order processing and cashier duties.
- Strong skills in basic math, retail math, or grocery store operations are beneficial for cash handling and sales upselling.
- Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively during peak hours while maintaining high-quality customer service.
- Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures is essential.
