About Us: The Savannah Yacht Club is a private, family-oriented club located on the Wilmington River on Whitemarsh Island, in Savannah Georgia. We are dedicated to member satisfaction through superior service and quality facilities.
Summary: To execute final touches in plate presentation, quality, dietary requirements and efficient food running in a consistent timely manner at banquets, the pool, and a la carte service.
Job Duties:
- Knowledge of various menus and dishes offered.
- Manage the order flow of running dishes.
- Make sure that all the orders are prepared on time.
- Assist and manage the final preparation of different foods and dishes.
- Take care of Members special needs and requests.
- Required to stand for long periods and walk, balance, stoop, kneel, reach, etc.
- Able to push. pull, or lift up to 50 pounds.
Compensation and Benefits:
- $15 per hour base rate with service charge added (range between $4- $9 per hour additionally)
- Up to 30 hours per week
- Meal provided
