POSITION SUMMARY
Responsible for the overall supervision, operation, maintenance, cleanliness, safety, and regulatory compliance of all Sunray Park & Casino facilities, including the Casino, Racetrack, Administrative Offices, Racing Office, Stewards' Office, Jockey's House, grounds, and parking areas. Oversees the Facilities and Housekeeping departments while ensuring all buildings, equipment, and public spaces are maintained to the highest standards of safety, cleanliness, functionality, and guest satisfaction.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide leadership, supervision, and direction for the Facilities and Housekeeping departments.
- Hire, train, coach, evaluate, discipline, and develop department employees.
- Schedule employees based on operational and business needs.
- Ensure all facilities, grounds, parking lots, and public areas are clean, safe, attractive, and well maintained.
- Oversee preventive maintenance programs for all buildings, equipment, utilities, HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, machine shop equipment, and exterior landscaping.
- Maintain work order systems and ensure timely completion of repairs and maintenance projects.
- Develop and maintain departmental Standard Operating Procedures.
- Conduct routine inspections of all facilities to ensure quality and cleanliness standards are consistently met.
- Oversee housekeeping operations, including laundry services and janitorial equipment maintenance.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, MSDS requirements, company policies, and all applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
- Maintain proper storage, labeling, and handling of cleaning chemicals and maintenance materials.
- Coordinate vendor services, maintenance contracts, and outside contractors while maintaining quality and cost control.
- Purchase and maintain inventory of maintenance supplies, cleaning products, equipment, tools, and replacement parts.
- Prepare and manage departmental budgets, monitor expenses, and explain budget variances.
- Respond promptly and professionally to guest and employee concerns regarding facilities and housekeeping.
- Coordinate facility operations with all departments to support casino and racing activities.
- Prepare reports, maintenance records, inspections, and other documentation for management.
- Promote a safe working environment and ensure required safety training is completed.
- Attend management meetings and participate in operational planning.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.

- Overall responsibility for personnel management including interviewing, selecting, hiring, training, evaluating, promoting, disciplining, and terminating employees in accordance with company policy.
- Ensure the safety and security of employees, guests, contractors, and company assets.
- Develop departmental goals, objectives, and performance standards.
- Maintain positive communication and working relationships with all departments.
- Monitor departmental performance and identify opportunities for operational improvements.
- Manage labor costs, inventory levels, purchasing, and departmental budgets responsibly.
- Protect company assets through preventive maintenance and proper stewardship of equipment.
- Maintain confidentiality of company information.
- Comply with all Sunray Park & Casino policies and procedures.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.

- Experience with budgeting, purchasing, vendor management, and inventory control.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) preferred.
- Ability to analyze problems and develop practical solutions.
- Ability to work collaboratively with all departments.
- Must be dependable and willing to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and extended hours when business needs require.
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and work indoors and outdoors in varying environmental conditions.
- Must be a team player with a commitment to providing exceptional guest service.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Facilities Management, Business Administration, Construction Management, or a related field preferred.
- Technical certifications in HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, or related trades preferred.
- Minimum three (3) years of supervisory or management experience in facilities management, maintenance, housekeeping, hospitality, or gaming operations.
- Experience managing multiple operational departments preferred.
Required Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
- Valid Driver's License preferred.
- OSHA or other facilities-related certifications are a plus.
Pay: From $50,000.00 per year
