The Summer School Afternoon Club Aide is responsible for providing supervision of the Monroe Park and Recreation Department's day camp, playground programs and after school program. You will participate and lead activities, which include arts and crafts, playing games, swimming at the outdoor pool and going on field trips.The Playground Aide is responsible for providing supervision of the Playground programs, including Tot lot, Adventure Club, Sports of Sorts and Community Connections!
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
Participate in pre-season staff orientation/training program.Help lead safe and diversified playground programs by playing games, swimming at the outdoor pool, arts and crafts, and going on field trips.Provide a safe environment for the children.Maintain the cleanliness of the facility, including walkways, restrooms and parking lot.Provide direct leadership in specialty activities and assist with activities as needed.Follow all department policies and procedures.June Day Camp Hours: June 8th - July 10th June 8th - 12th 7:30am-5pmJune 15th - July 10th Mon-Thurs. - 11:45am-5:00pm & Fridays 7:30am-5pmJuly Day Camp Hours: July 13 - August 14 7:30am-5:00pmCommunity Connections Hours: June 8 - July 29th 5:30pm-6:30pm (Mon/Wed)
