Job Summary
We are looking for a Full-Time Café Staff member to join our team. This individual should have excellent customer service skills with a passion for serving others. This position offers a fast-paced work environment where your skills in food handling, teamwork, and customer service will grow!
Duties
- Greet customers warmly and provide attentive, friendly service to ensure a positive experience.
- Prepare and serve a variety of food and beverages, including salads, sandwiches, snacks, and more, following safety and sanitation standards.
- Operate POS system to help fulfill orders
- Upsell menu items to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales revenue.
- Maintain cleanliness by sanitizing workstations, and adhering to food safety protocols.
- Manage food preparation tasks efficiently to meet quick service demands in a fast-paced café environment.
- Assist with inventory management, restocking supplies, and ensuring proper food handling procedures are followed.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred; culinary experience is a plus.
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during busy hours.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests.
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling techniques.
