What You'll Do
- Transport residents according to an established schedule
- Assist residents in and out of vehicles, using the wheelchair lift as needed
- Accurately maintain required transportation records and logs
- Maintain the vehicle as needed — fill with gas, keep clean, and notify the Maintenance Director of any problems or needed repairs
- Collect, clean, and distribute residents' linens in a timely, organized manner
- Occasionally clean, dust, vacuum, empty trash, and wash windows in resident rooms, bathrooms, and common areas
- Handle, process, and store linens and resident clothing properly to help control the spread of infection or disease

- A valid driver's license with a safe driving record
- At least 21 years of age
- Previous driving experience
- Patience and a genuine desire to work with seniors
- Dependability
- A pleasant, friendly, and helpful attitude at all times
- Ability to learn tasks and follow written and oral instructions
