Overview
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Associate to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for customer service and a strong ability to engage with customers, ensuring they have a positive shopping experience. As a Sales Associate, you will play a crucial role in driving sales and maintaining the overall presentation of the store. This is a position perfect for supplementing an additional job and is flexible around personal trainers, military, students, and first responders' schedules.
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers and assisting them with their needs.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash register operations and cash handling.
- Conduct product demonstrations to showcase features and benefits to customers.
- Maintain stock levels by organizing and replenishing merchandise on the sales floor.
- Communicate effectively with customers over the phone, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized store environment that reflects our brand standards.
- Participate in social media output (i.e., filming Reels for Instagram, taking pictures with product, etc.)
Qualifications
- Knowledgeable and has prior experience in fitness, supplementation, and nutrition.
- Prior experience in supplement retail sales.
- Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred but not required.
- Strong cash handling skills and familiarity with cash register operations.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and inventory calculations.
- Ability to perform product demos effectively, engaging customers in the process.
- A positive attitude, strong communication skills, and a commitment to providing excellent service are essential for success in this role.
Shifts
1 Week-Day: 10AM-8PM (i.e., in store)
1 Weekend Shift: 8-12 (i.e., per community outreach event) or 3PM-7PM or 12PM-6PM (i.e., in store)
Additional week-day evening hours dependent on community outreach opportunities and events
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $15.00 per hour
