Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and welcoming Hostess / Guest Greeter to be the first point of contact for our guests. Responsibilities
- Warmly greet guests upon arrival, making them feel welcomed and appreciated
- Manage reservations, waitlists, and guest seating efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
- Provide accurate wait times and assist with guest inquiries via phone or in person, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
- Coordinate with the service team to ensure smooth seating arrangements and guest flow throughout the venue
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand area, ensuring a professional appearance at all times
- Support guest relations by addressing questions or concerns promptly and courteously
- Assist with special event setups or guest requests to enhance overall guest satisfaction
- Interact with tables for a more personal dining experience.
Experience
- Previous host/hostess experience preferred, especially within food service or restaurant environments
- Strong customer service background with excellent communication skills
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
- Experience in hospitality, hotel services, or guest relations is advantageous
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude
- Knowledge of restaurant operations, serving procedures, and phone etiquette is beneficial
- Prior experience working in a fast-paced environment that emphasizes hospitality and guest services
