American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Outpatient Clinic Cardiology position specializing in cardiac device interrogation and remote monitoring in a clinic setting.

Outpatient cardiology clinic setting focused on cardiac device management

Day shift schedule: 5x8-hour shifts, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

13-week contract

On-call responsibilities are required

Weekend assignments are required

Holiday coverage required for at least 50% of holidays occurring during the contract

Cerner charting experience is preferred but not required
-
Active MO or Compact RN license currently in hand — no pending licenses accepted

Minimum 2 years of RN experience with at least 1 year in outpatient cardiology or a related cardiac specialty

Current BLS certification
-
Ability to ambulate, reach, and move objects weighing up to and over 20 lbs

Two professional references required for consideration

Independently interrogate and reprogram implanted cardiac devices as directed by electrophysiology (EP) physicians

Manage remote monitoring programs via vendor websites and clinic scheduling systems, including patient outreach by phone, portal, and correspondence letters for non-compliant patients

Triage and assess critical symptoms or device-related issues, providing immediate intervention or escalating to the appropriate provider as needed

Perform initial post-implant device interrogations during follow-up visits and educate patients on device function and remote monitoring expectations
