Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Kitchen team player to help oversee daily kitchen operations in a casual fine dining environment. Responsibilities
- Help coordinate all kitchen activities, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation to ensure high-quality standards.
- Maintain food safety, proper handling, and culinary techniques.
- Manage inventory control by monitoring stock levels and minimizing waste to optimize food costs.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations related to food safety management, sanitation, and cleanliness standards.
- Help to maintain a positive team environment.
- Participate in quality checks on food production, proper food handling procedures, and uphold hospitality standards across all operations.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in fine dining food restaurant environments with a strong background in food preparation and cooking and handling all stations.
- Demonstrated team leadership experience within the food industry preferred
- Knowledge of inventory control practices, food safety regulations, and sanitation standards.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently.
