Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Program Manager, Data & Operations, to lead and optimize our data-driven initiatives and operational processes. In this pivotal role, you will oversee complex program development, drive continuous improvement through Lean Six Sigma methodologies, and manage cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact projects. Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, development, and implementation of large-scale programs focused on data management and operational excellence.
- Manage project portfolios utilizing tools such as Jira, Trello, or Microsoft Project to ensure timely delivery within scope, budget, and quality standards.
- Apply Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project management methodologies to adapt to evolving project requirements while maintaining momentum.
- Facilitate requirements gathering sessions and process mapping exercises to define clear project scopes and objectives.
- Conduct root cause analysis and risk assessments to identify issues proactively and develop effective mitigation strategies.
- Oversee vendor management and IT infrastructure integration to support program objectives seamlessly.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Kaizen, Six Sigma, or other process improvement frameworks to optimize workflows and reduce waste.
- Lead team management efforts by supervising project teams, fostering collaboration, and promoting professional development through coaching and mentoring.
- Facilitate meetings with stakeholders at all levels to communicate progress, negotiate scope changes, and ensure alignment across departments.
- Monitor project performance metrics using earned value management (EVM) techniques to track progress against goals effectively.
Requirements
- Proven experience supervising teams in a fast-paced environment with strong leadership capabilities.
- Extensive background in program development, project planning, and lifecycle management aligned with PMBOK or similar standards.
- Deep understanding of business process modeling, requirements analysis, and requirements management tools such as Confluence or SharePoint.
- Proficiency in project management software including Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, Primavera P6, or equivalent tools like VersionOne or Project Server.
- Strong analytical skills with expertise in data collection, analysis techniques (e.g., SAS), and data analysis skills essential for decision-making support.
- Familiarity with IT infrastructure components such as ERP systems, CRM platforms like Salesforce, content management systems (CMS), and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
- Experience implementing Agile frameworks such as SAFe or Kanban for product management and process management initiatives.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to facilitate meetings effectively and present complex ideas clearly.
- Knowledge of risk management practices including scope management, schedule control, cost control, and quality assurance strategies like Six Sigma or Lean Six Sigma certifications preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining organizational skills and attention to detail.
