Job Opening: Experienced Medical Assistant – Part-Time (4 Days/20 Hours Per Week)
Location: Nassau County
Compensation: $20-23/hour
Schedule: 4 days per week, totaling 20 hours. Must be flexible with rotating shifts.
We are seeking a mature, responsible, and flexible Medical Assistant to join our fast-paced, professional medical practice. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience as a Medical Assistant and be able to thrive in a high-energy environment where multitasking and attention to detail are essential.
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform Pulmonary Function Testing
- Administer Oxygen therapy
- Take and record patient vitals
- Handle prior authorizations
- Assist at the front desk: scheduling appointments, computer use, and patient check-in/check-out
- Work directly with patients to ensure quality care and comfort
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of Medical Assistant experience (Required)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced medical environment
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Proficiency with basic computer systems and scheduling software
- Must wear professional scrub uniform
- Ability to rotate shifts regularly
- Bring 3 professional job references to the interview
