Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Engineering Technician to join our team. As an Engineering Technician, you will play a crucial role in supporting our engineering department by assisting providing electronic and instrumentation support in production environment at all Alliance One North America facilities. This is a hands-on position that requires strong technical skills and attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with and/or assume responsibility for the installation, maintenance and calibration of the following:
- Instrumentation. (Flow Meters, Pressure and Temperature Sensors etc.)
- Electronic Devices. (Moisture Meters etc.)
- Electronic Systems. (Foreign Matter Removal Equipment.)
- Weigh Belts and Load cells.
- PLC and HMI systems.
- Related Computer hardware, software and networking.
- Maintain and troubleshoot controllers and other equipment.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success.
Job Competencies:
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent problem solving and decision-making skills.
- Good overall mechanical and electrical skills.
- Successful applicant should have some experience, in the following area: Electrical and Electronic equipment, Allen-Bradley PLC’ s, Rockwell Software RS Logix PLC, Programming Language, PLC Communications and Rockwell Software RS View SE HMI Software.
Experience:
- Associate degree preferred or technical school or higher.
- High School diploma required with further education.
- 2-3 years Electronic or Electrical experience.
- 2-3 years' experience in a production environment

Pay: $63,000.00 - $73,000.00 per year
