Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces to ensure a pristine environment.
- Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and recreational spaces by sweeping, mopping, disinfecting, and restocking supplies.
- Handle laundry duties efficiently, including washing, folding, and organizing linens and towels to support operational needs.
- Use specialized cleaning equipment for floor care tasks such as buffing, polishing, and deep cleaning carpets or hard floors.
- Follow safety protocols related to industrial cleaning products and equipment to ensure a safe workspace for yourself and colleagues.
- Report maintenance issues or damages promptly to ensure guest safety and uphold property standards.
- Assist with inventory management by monitoring cleaning supplies and requesting replenishments as needed.
Requirements
- Proven experience in cleaning or custodial roles within hospitality or janitorial settings is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with floor care techniques including sweeping, mopping, buffing, and carpet cleaning.
- Previous hotel experience or background in hospitality enhances your ability to meet guest expectations efficiently.
- Strong understanding of industrial cleaning procedures and safety standards related to chemical handling.
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, bend, lift moderate loads, and perform physically demanding tasks comfortably.
