Duties
- Engage with customers in retail stores and on the road, providing expert product knowledge and personalized recommendations
- Drive commercial trucks safely along designated routes, ensuring timely delivery of products while adhering to DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations
- Build lasting customer relationships through effective communication, upselling additional products or services, and understanding client needs
- Conduct route planning and merchandising activities to optimize product placement and inventory levels in retail locations
- Handle heavy lifting and safe lifting practices when loading or unloading merchandise, ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times
- Maintain accurate records of sales transactions, pricing adjustments, and client interactions to support organizational efficiency
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills when liaising with clients, team members, and management to ensure seamless operations
Qualifications
- Prior retail store experience or similar customer service background preferred; military experience is a plus
- Strong math skills for pricing calculations, inventory management, and sales analysis
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience with commercial truck driving is highly desirable
- Knowledge of DOT regulations related to commercial driving and transportation safety standards
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and follow safe lifting practices during daily duties
- Excellent organizational skills for route planning, merchandising, and maintaining accurate records
- Effective communication skills for client interaction, team collaboration, and reporting purposes
- Familiarity with automotive transportation logistics, upselling techniques, and customer relationship building strategies
