Job Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Food Service Representatives to join our dynamic team. As a Food Service Representative, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive experience for our customers. You will be responsible for various tasks, including food preparation, maintaining cleanliness, and operating point-of-sale systems. Responsibilities
- Provide outstanding customer service by greeting and providing customers with assistance ordering deli items.
- Prepare food items such as subs, sandwiches, salads, fried chicken and cheesesteaks all according to established recipes.
- Operate cash registers and point-of-sale (POS) systems efficiently and accurately.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, service areas and kitchen equipment.
- Abide by all ServSafe and the Department of Health standards to ensure quality control throughout the kitchen.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management to support overall team success.
Requirements
- Previous experience in the food industry or retail environment is preferred but not mandatory.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and culinary techniques is a plus.
- Previous experiences with kitchen equipment such as fryers and meat slicers a plus.
- Familiarity with retail math concepts is beneficial for managing transactions effectively.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work well in a team-oriented atmosphere.
- The ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks as required.
- A positive attitude, reliability, and a strong work ethic are essential traits for success in this role.

Pay: $15.50 - $16.25 per hour
