Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of non-alcoholic beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks, ensuring quality and consistency.
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process retail sales transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Handle cash register operations, process cash transactions, and give correct change with basic math skills.
- Maintain cleanliness of the café area, including food handling, equipment sanitation, and overall workspace organization.
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders promptly, and responding to inquiries professionally.
- Assist with food preparation tasks related to café offerings, ensuring food safety standards are met at all times.
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers quickly while maintaining high-quality beverage service.
Experience
- Previous barista experience or food service experience is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with beverage preparation techniques and coffee industry standards.
- Experience operating POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests.
- Basic math proficiency for cash handling and transaction processing.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures.
- Ability to manage time efficiently in a fast-paced retail environment while maintaining attention to detail.
