Overview
We are seeking a passionate and energetic Lead Teacher for Older Infants to join our vibrant early childhood education team. Duties
- Plan and execute developmentally appropriate curriculum tailored specifically for older infants, encouraging exploration and foundational skills.
- Provide attentive supervision to ensure the safety and well-being of each child at all times, adhering to best practices in child supervision and classroom management.
- Foster positive relationships with children through engaging activities that promote social-emotional development, language skills, and motor coordination.
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about their child's progress, milestones, and any concerns, building strong partnerships grounded in trust.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and stimulating classroom environment that supports early childhood development standards.
- Follow all mandated reporting laws and health guidelines, including first aid and CPR protocols, to ensure compliance and safety.
- Collaborate with team members to share insights on individual children's needs, behaviors, and developmental progress to support personalized care plans.
Skills
- Demonstrated experience working with infants in daycare or preschool settings, with a strong understanding of childhood development principles.
- Certification in first aid, pediatric first aid, CPR, and knowledge of mandated reporting laws.
- Expertise in classroom management techniques tailored for young children and toddlers.
- Strong communication skills for effective parent engagement and team collaboration.
- Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is highly valued.
- Knowledge of early childhood education best practices, including behavior management strategies and caregiving techniques.
- Ability to create a nurturing environment that promotes curiosity, independence, and social skills.
