Job Summary
A growing organization in Chicago, IL is seeking a Financial Analyst for a temp-to-hire opportunity. This role is ideal for a finance professional with 3 to 5 years of experience who enjoys analyzing financial performance, building reports, identifying trends, and helping business leaders make informed decisions.
The Financial Analyst will support budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, financial reporting, and research projects that contribute to stronger business planning and operational visibility. Key Responsibilities
- Prepare financial reports, dashboards, and analysis to support business planning and decision-making.
- Analyze revenue, expenses, margins, trends, and variances against budget, forecast, and prior periods.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling activities.
- Partner with accounting, operations, and leadership teams to gather data and explain financial results.
- Research financial performance drivers and provide actionable insights to improve business outcomes.
- Support ad hoc reporting, process improvement initiatives, and special finance projects.
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary range: $90,000 to $130,000 per year.
