Job Summary
We are seeking energetic and dependable Movers to join our dynamic team! In this role, you will be the driving force behind smooth and efficient relocations, ensuring our customers’ belongings are handled with care and professionalism. As a vital part of our moving operations, you will coordinate loading, unloading, and transporting items using various equipment, including box trucks and forklifts. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help create positive moving experiences for our clients while maintaining safety standards at all times.
Duties
- Safely load and unload household or commercial items using manual lifting techniques, dollies, pallet jacks, and forklifts when necessary
- Drive box trucks and commercial vehicles with manual transmissions along designated routes to deliver items promptly
- Assist customers with packing, unpacking, and organizing belongings during moves
- Load and secure cargo properly to prevent damage during transit
- Maintain accurate documentation of deliveries and pickups, including route logs and delivery confirmations
- Follow safety protocols for heavy lifting, equipment operation, and vehicle handling to ensure a safe working environment
- Communicate effectively with team members and customers to coordinate move schedules and address any concerns
Qualifications
- Prior experience in moving, warehouse work, or delivery driving is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience operating a box truck or courier vehicle is a plus
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely for extended periods
- Familiarity with warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks is advantageous
- Strong customer service skills to ensure positive interactions with clients during moves
- Knowledge of route driving and navigation tools to efficiently plan deliveries
- Physical stamina and agility to handle manual lifting, bending, and standing for long durations
