Life Beyond Barriers Rehabilitation Group is seeking a compassionate, organized, and customer-focused Front Office Coordinator to join our team in Traverse City. As the first point of contact for our clinic, the Front Office Coordinator plays a vital role in creating a welcoming and supportive experience for clients receiving physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech-language therapy services.

Essential Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary front office contact, providing a warm and professional experience for clients, families, caregivers, referral sources, and visitors.
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls, take accurate messages, and communicate effectively with clients and staff.
- Manage therapist schedules and coordinate appointments efficiently.
- Coordinate referral and intake processes, including obtaining prescriptions and initiating EMR documentation.
- Maintain HIPAA compliance and confidentiality of all client information.
- Monitor schedules to minimize cancellations and support waitlist management.
- Prepare meeting minutes and provide administrative support.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience working in a medical office or healthcare setting.
- Experience using an Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system.
- Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in rehabilitation therapy, outpatient healthcare, or a multidisciplinary clinic.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare scheduling processes.
