Responsibilities
- Prepare and assemble menu items following established recipes and quality standards.
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems like Aloha POS and Micros POS for processing customer orders and transactions.
- Manage food service customer orders accurately, ensuring timely delivery and satisfaction.
- Maintain a clean workspace by adhering to sanitation and food safety guidelines throughout your shift.
- Handle cash register operations, process cash transactions, and manage retail sales transactions efficiently.
- Support food handling procedures, including proper storage, food safety management, and sanitation practices.
- Assist with operating kitchen equipment safely and effectively to support food preparation tasks.
Skills
- Previous experience in quick service or fast food restaurants is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is key!
- Strong time management skills to keep up with fast-paced service demands.
- Knowledge of food preparation, handling, and safety standards within the food industry.
- Ability to operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS confidently.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude toward guests.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction processing.
- Experience with retail sales transactions or grocery store operations is a plus but not necessary.
