Accounting Assistant, CCA
Reports to: CCA Accounting Supervisor
FLSA Status: Hourly (Non-Exempt)
Hours per week: 40 hours, Full-time

Job Summary:
This position provides school billing and general accounting support to the Calvary Chapel Academy accounting team.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintain student files and reports (1 Corinthians 14:40)
- Customer Service to parents and School staff inquires (James 2:18)
- Post school and scholarship payments (1 Peter 4:10)
- Assist CCA accounting team members, as needed(1 Thessalonians 5:11)
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor (Colossians 3:23)
Job Skills and Competencies:
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written with the ability to deal with sensitive issues while exercising good knowledge of proper grammar and punctuation
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite including Excel and Word
- Some Bookkeeping knowledge and skills (1 Peter 5:2-3)
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of information
- Ability to stay calm in stressful situations (1 Kings 9:4)
- A dependable team player who works well with people at all levels of the organization
