IN THE SURGICAL SERVICES DEPARTMENT THE ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES AIDE IS RESPONSIBLE FOR CLEANING, DAMP-DUSTING AND POLISHING FURNISHINGS; DISINFECTING PATIENT CARE AND NON-PATIENT CARE AREAS; REMOVE TRASH AND REPLACE LINENS DAILY; AND TERMINALLY CLEANING THE OPERATING ROOMS EVERY 24 HOURS ON SCHEDULED DAYS. MUST BE ABLE TO FOLLOW DIRECTIONS AND PERFORM WORK ACCORDING TO DEPARTMENT STANDARDS WHEN NO DIRECTIONS ARE GIVEN.
