We’re looking for a dependable Service Technician (SOG) to support fire camp and emergency response operations across the western United States. This role requires immediate deployment on short notice and the ability to live and work on-site for extended periods in demanding outdoor conditions.

What You’ll Do

Service and maintain portable sanitation units in active fire camp environments to ensure continuous operation.
- Clean, sanitize, and restock restrooms, handwash stations, and hygiene facilities in high-use areas.
- Support daily camp operations to maintain safe, clean, and functional living conditions.
- Monitor inventory levels and restock supplies to prevent service interruptions.
- Adapt quickly to changing operational needs during active fire response situations.
- Follow all safety procedures, PPE requirements, and site-specific regulations at all times.
- Work collaboratively with team members in a structured, closed camp environment.
- Assist with camp setup, ongoing maintenance, and breakdown as assignments begin and conclude.
- Maintain clear communication with supervisors regarding service needs and site conditions.
What You’ll Need

Ability to travel on very short notice and report quickly for deployment; must possess valid identification required for travel by plane, train, or car depending on assignment location.
- Willingness to remain deployed for extended periods (multiple weeks) until camp operations are complete, with limited ability to leave the site once assigned.
- Physical ability to work 8–12+ hour shifts; stand, walk, and perform continuous movement throughout the day.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds regularly and perform repetitive manual tasks.
- Capability to bend, kneel, crouch, climb ladders, and navigate uneven, rugged terrain in remote camp environments.
- Ability to work outdoors in extreme and unpredictable conditions, including heat, cold, wind, rain, mud, dust, and smoke exposure while wearing required PPE.
