About the Role
Boingo’s Academy is seeking a nurturing, reliable, and enthusiastic Assistant Teacher to join our early childhood education team. This part-time PM position is perfect for someone passionate about working with young children and committed to supporting a safe, fun, and developmentally appropriate learning environment.
Requirements
- Minimum of 12 Early Childhood Education (ECE) units REQUIRED
- Previous experience in a licensed childcare or preschool setting preferred
- Must meet all California Community Care Licensing Title 22 requirements, including:
- DOJ, FBI, & CACI fingerprint clearance/background check
- Current TB clearance
- Required immunizations (Measles, Pertussis, Influenza vaccine or waiver)
- Mandated Reporter Training AB 1207
- Current Pediatric CPR/First Aid certification preferred
- Strong communication skills and a warm, team-oriented attitude
- Ability to work collaboratively with lead teachers and staff
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the lead teacher with daily activities, routines, and classroom management
- Supervise and engage children during playtime, snack time, and transitions
- Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom environment
- Foster positive relationships with children, families, and fellow team members
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in your care
- Follow all school policies and Title 22 licensing regulations
