This Direct Care Professional Position is Responsible for (but not limited to):
- Very rewarding opportunity to work with adults with intellectual disability ( adults that live in a group home setting because they are not able to care for themselves)

- Ensure the protection of the individuals’ rights
- Assist individual residents in acquiring and maintaining the self-help, socialization, and adaptive skills necessary to reside successfully in a home or a community-based setting
- Promote a safe and healthy living environment
Must be able to assist residents with community living skills, basic educational skills.
Must be able to read and write legibly and turn in progress notes and other documentation .
Must have experience and desire to intervene with problematic behaviors with zero violence.
Must demonstrate extensive patience with behavioral intervention
Must be able to follow person directed plans and behavior plans
Must respect all rights of individuals served
Must be able to attend all training prior to start date
A VALID DRIVERS LICENSE IS REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION

Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 8.00 – 40.00 per week
