Job Overview
The Franciscan Sisters of the Poor has a Part-time 7a to 3pm opening for a Nursing Assistant . This position requires a compassionate individual who is dedicated to providing high-quality patient care while adhering to established protocols and regulations. St. Clare Convent is a private home to sisters and the healthcare floor has approximately 10 sisters that reside there. The schedule would consist of 2 shifts/week with every other weekend as a requirement.
Duties
- Assist in the daily care of sisters, including personal hygiene, mobility support, and other activities of daily living.
- Serve meals and snacks for the Sisters.
- Complete laundry and light housekeeping.
- Transport sisters, internally to activities such as mass and meals.
Skills needed
- Background in nursing or experience in a nursing home setting is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with sisters, and healthcare team members.
- Ability to work independently while also functioning as part of a collaborative team.
- Compassionate approach to patient care with a focus on enhancing the quality of life for those served.
Job Types: Part-time, PRN
Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
