Part-Time Homeschool Helper (College Student Preferred)
We’re looking for a reliable, engaging college student to help guide our 6-year-old’s homeschool learning in a positive and encouraging environment.
Position Details:
- Start date August 17th
- Pay: $18/hour
- Schedule: 3-5 days per week, ~2 hours per day
- Preferred Time: Between 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM (flexible within that window)
- Location: In-home (Draper)
Responsibilities:
- Guide daily lessons using a provided curriculum
- Keep our child engaged, focused, and encouraged during learning time
- Provide feedback on progress and any challenges
Curriculum:
We will provide a curriculum, but we are open to your input if you have experience with or prefer a specific program.
Ideal Candidate:
- College student (education majors or those who enjoy working with kids)
- Patient, dependable, and positive
- Comfortable helping a young child build foundational reading and math skills
- Prior childcare or tutoring experience is helpful but not required
