Objectives of this Role
Provide overall management for project management staff including project managers, project superintendents, and project engineers for multiple projects. Develop new business opportunities relative to targeted market segments. The Project Executive is responsible for overseeing project budget, schedule and standard operating policies and procedures for projects, resolving and correcting issues, and identifying improvements as needed for all preconstruction and construction processes. The Project Executive must be able to review projects and resolution of issues from a risk-management perspective on behalf of the company.

Job Responsibilities:
- Demonstrates strong knowledge of commercial construction and exceptional preconstruction and construction management skills. Delivers on key projects and commitments via professional knowledge and leadership abilities.
- Enforces established project objectives, policies, procedures and performance standards within boundaries of corporate policy.
- Leads and Monitors preconstruction and construction through project staff through the Project Manager, including the on-site Superintendent, Project Engineer and other project team members.
- Guides and facilitates the preconstruction process for projects including estimate reviews, GMP documents/exhibits, constructability analysis, and schedule development/implementation.
- Possesses detailed process & application knowledge relating to building codes, budget and schedule management through preconstruction and construction practices.
- Guides the Project Manager regarding job set-up, communications, document control tracking, safety compliance, quality control and closeout as needed.
- Foresees potential problem areas within projects and helps develops methods to solve problem situations
- Promotes and supports the Company's Accident Prevention and Safety and Health Programs and State BWC Drug-Free Program.
- Understands drawings, specifications, and terms/conditions of the Owner contract, subcontracts and purchase orders.
- Responsible for multiple projects on-time delivery while maintaining team focus on safety, quality and budget.
- Foster and maintain long-term relationships with owners, designers, subcontractors & vendors. Identify and develop new relationships for project opportunities.
- Represents the company at network events and community functions to promote Regency Construction and the pursuit of new projects and clients.
- Manage the financial aspects of contracts and review all project budget and schedule reports monthly or more frequently as required.
- Represents the firm in select project meetings
- Hiring, training, and managing of project staff. Participating in company staffing discussions and staff planning.
- Organize, schedule, and implement staff training.
- Assumes other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
- Review, understand and ensure that the project contract terms are being implemented and followed.
- Other tasks as directed by the Vice President of Construction Operations.
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Educational and experience requirements: 4-year degree in engineering or construction management; plus, extensive experience/knowledge of construction, design, finance and management. Minimum 10 years of construction management experience. Previous experience managing Commercial, Higher Education, K-12, Healthcare, Non-Profit and Civic projects
- Be able to apply innovative and effective management techniques to maximize project team performance.
- Thorough understanding of corporate and industry practices, processes, standards etc. and their impact on project success.
- Superior communication and interpersonal skills necessary. Strong leadership, conflict management and communication skills (verbal and written); able to build rapport and negotiate skillfully.
- Strong organizational and planning skills; able to effectively allocate and develop resources.
- Results-focused; able to effectively delegate and follow-up.
- Professional, dependable and ethical. Ability to always maintain discretion and confidentiality at all times.
- 30-hour OSHA training certificate.
- Must have a valid driver’s license, pass a pre-employment drug screen and pass a background check if applicable.

Pay: $115,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
