DownEast Orthopedics is seeking a Medical Assistant to join their clinical team. Candidates will perform administrative and clinical duties under the direction of a physician.
Clinical duties may include:
- Chart prep
- Rooming patients
- Recording vital signs
- Recording medical histories
- Drawing up injections
- Suture removal
- Cleaning/Prepping instruments for autoclave
- Preparing patients for examinations
- Anything a provider might need to assist them with patient care.
Candidate must be:
- Patientcare focused
- Be able to multi-task
- Have attention to detail
- Have excellent communication skills
- Be a team player, but also function independently
