The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing all facets of the PSI Operations Department; including Wire Harness manufacturing, Kitting, Looming, Shipping/Receiving, and Quality Groups. Reporting directly to ownership, the Operations Manager is empowered to develop and tailor processes, recommend capital investments in tooling and training as well provide personnel recommendations in order to increase efficiencies, throughput, and meet production schedules.
Working directly with Ownership to set and communicate goals and expectations for the aforementioned Groups, while implementing and enforcing processes and procedures is the priority of this role. This is achieved by working closely with the Supply Chain Manager and Engineering to implement the collective vision of the Company. Ability to delegate, evaluate, and review job performance while communicating openly with teammates and ownership is also critical.
Responsibilities:

Set and communicate goals for the Operations Department in conjunction with ownership.

Create, Implement, and Update Processes and Procedures to improve capability and capacity.

Work with Engineering Team to improve efficiency using new manufacturing techniques.

Revise and improve quality processes.

Work with Supply Chain Manager and Sales Team to develop and maintain production schedules.

Ability to read and understand electrical, mechanical, and technical documentation.
Ideal Candidate will possess:

Five (5) years of Manufacturing Experience.

Five (5) years experience with Automotive Wiring and/or manufacturing.

Experience with Engineering/Manufacturing software including but not limited to- Fusion360, Pro/E Creo, etc.

Microsoft Office- Outlook, Word, and Excel in particular- required.

Intuit Quickbooks experience a plus.
