EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
This position supports the flow of information between executive offices, legislators, constituents, and the department by managing inquiries, maintaining records, and assisting with policy research. As a Legislative Liaison 2, you will perform the following duties:

Inquiry Management: Track, review, and coordinate inquiries from executive and legislative offices

Constituent Support: Respond to verbal and written questions by gathering information and preparing clear replies

Policy Research: Analyze legislation, regulations, and policies to support accurate and timely responses

Legislative Representation: Represent the department at legislative and governmental meetings, hearings, and briefings

Regulatory Review: Develop recommendations regarding laws and regulatory changes that impact the department’s mission and operations

Office Coordination: Work with staff, program areas, and external partners to ensure accurate submissions and timely communication

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week

Work hours are 8:15 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 45-minute lunch.

Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, up to 2 days per week. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Annville. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time. Additional details may be provided during the interview.
