American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a 13-week Cardiac Telemetry position on a Stepdown Intermediate Care unit, working night shifts with weekend requirements.

28-bed cardiac telemetry stepdown/intermediate care unit
-
Cares for all cardiac patient needs
-
Nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:4-6
-
Unit is supported by PCTs, a Healthcare Unit Coordinator, virtual sitter monitoring, and monitor techs for telemetry patients
-
Night shift: 18:30–07:00
-
Travelers are required to work up to 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule period
-
Holiday coverage required based on department needs
-
13-week contract
-
Active RN license (Oklahoma or Compact) currently in hand
-
Current BLS certification (must be AHA)
-
NIH Certification required
-
Minimum 1 year of RN experience required

Candidates must possess a valid US Social Security Number and provide a US home address

Two professional references required for consideration

Copy of Driver's License required for consideration

Copy of certifications and license verification/Nursys required for consideration

Implements and monitors patient care plans, records and communicates patient condition as appropriate

Serves as primary coordinator across disciplines to ensure well-coordinated patient care

Assesses and coordinates patient discharge planning needs with the healthcare team

Must be able to apply critical thinking and decisive judgment while working with minimal supervision in a stressful environment

Must follow Standard Precautions and use appropriate personal protective equipment
