Overview
We are seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Handyman to join our dynamic facilities team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a variety of building systems, equipment, and infrastructure to ensure a safe, functional, and efficient environment. Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and HVAC systems using schematics and technical manuals.
- Conduct repairs involving, electrical troubleshooting, and mechanical adjustments to ensure optimal operation of home equipment.
- Utilize tools such as ohmmeters and other diagnostic devices to identify issues accurately and efficiently.
- Assist with residential painting projects and other general maintenance tasks across the facility.
- Supervise or assist with small-scale projects, ensuring safety protocols are followed and work is completed on time.
- Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to maintenance requests from staff or tenants, ensuring their needs are met with professionalism.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field with hands-on skills in electrical, mechanical, or plumbing repairs.
- Knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics, and electrical systems troubleshooting.
- Skilled in residential painting with an eye for detail.
- Strong leadership or supervising experience preferred for coordinating small teams or projects.
- Excellent communication skills in Spanish/English to collaborate effectively with team members and clients.
- Mechanical knowledge combined with customer service orientation to deliver high-quality maintenance support.
